Maryam

The significance and role of prophets and messengers in the Qur’an has been extensively studied by all schools of thought in the world of Islam. The significance and role of Maryam (Mary), the mother of Aissa (Jesus), on the other hand, has been given only the most obvious consideration: that she was the mother of Prophet Aissa through a miraculous virgin birth, that this was a sign of Allah’s (God’s) ability to create whatever He wills, and that she was an honorable and chaste, faithful worshipper, submitted to Allah alone (a Muslim or “submitted one”). While these are certainly true facts, they fall short of telling the whole story: could there be more to the role and significance of Maryam than this? Continue reading ‘Maryam’

The Mythmaker: Paul and the Invention of Christianity

Taken from: http://www.geocities.com/aleph135/paul21.html

Hyam Maccoby: Harper San Francisco 1986

I have included Maccoby’s work because it contrasts well with Brandon’s critical hypothesis that most traditional scholarship on this topic fails to cover the “context” that is the “historical context” of events within Judea at this time under oppressive Roman rule. The Rabbinical and Talmudic references available to a Jewish scholar also provide independent sources. Few Christians are even aware that perhaps the most important proponent of a non orthodox type of Jewish belief was never even in verbal contact with the man called Jesus in fact, Paul never met Jesus and yet he claimed to be a direct interpreter of his teaching. Zakat in the Quran

By Brother Kyle (e-mail: Kyle.Joell@atx.com)

The definition of zakaat becomes evident after proper studying of the word.

[Maryam 19:19] He said, “I am the messenger of your Lord, to grant you a (GHULAMAN ZAKIYYA) pure son.”

[al-Kahf 18:74] So they went. When they met a (NAFSUN ZAKIYYA- pure, well built) young boy, he killed him. He said, “Why did you kill such an innocent person, who did not kill another person? You have committed something horrendous.” Continue reading ‘Zakat in the Quran’

The Trust

Ayman (e-mail: drayman@fast-email.com)

Introduction

In the previous study“FREE CHOICE”, a basic and straightforward logical analysis was conducted on the Quranic verses relating to The GOD’s will. Various logical propositions and their present and past tense occurrences were examined. The conclusion derived from the analysis is that we each have the freedom to choose the path to take but have no control over what outcome this path will lead to.

When scientists study the universe, the more they understand of it, the more questions arise. I found the same to be true for the Quran. I will try here to answer some of the questions that arose out of the previous study, namely: Continue reading ‘The Trust’

What Is Salat?

 By Layth (e-mail: laytth@hotmail.com)

The word “Salat” and its derivates occur in the Scripture over 70 times and is emphasized by God Almighty as a critical aspect for the spiritual development and progress of believers.

This article will attempt to construct the full details of Salat (timings, form, words, etc.) using the Scripture as the only source of reference… Continue reading ‘What Is Salat?’

THE CIA’S SECRET WEAPONS SYSTEMS

Exploding wine bottles, guns constructed out of pipes, bullets made of
teeth, aspirin explosives: they sound like props from a second-rate spy
story. Horrifyingly enough, they are real. The CIA has spent a great
deal of its time–and your money–developing countless bizarre weapons
for assassination, sabotage, and mass destruction. If that’s news to
you, it’s because the CIA doesn’t want these products, some of which are
quite easy to put together, to fall into the “wrong hands.” As for
whether they are in the right hands now–judge for yourself. Continue reading ‘THE CIA’S SECRET WEAPONS SYSTEMS’

The (Secret) Heartbeat of America

By DANIEL HOPSICKER

Everybody wants to be wanted, even television producers. So even though the little production company of which I am a part already has a business magazine television show up and modestly successful (Global Business 2000; don’t tell us you haven’t seen it) we wanted more. We had seen with our own eyes, for example, the sickening spectacle of what passes for entertainment these days: Tammy Faye Bakker at NATPE (television production convention) last year, peddling some talk show in syndication. And with one of the major studios distributing, yet! Continue reading ‘The (Secret) Heartbeat of America’

Pearl Harbor: Fifty Years of Controversy

At 7:49 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 1941, 183 Japanese dive- and torpedo-bombers, accompanied by Zero escorts, launched the first of two attacks against the American base at Pearl Harbor. A second wave of 168 Japanese aircraft arrived at 9 a.m. Eighteen operational warships, including four battleships, were sunk or heavily damaged; 188 aircraft were destroyed. 2,403 Americans were killed, among them 68 civilians, and 1178 were wounded.

Although the Japanese achieved local surprise, their success was less than complete. The Pacific Fleet’s three aircraft carriers were not in port. Nine heavy cruisers, all but three light cruisers, and virtually all of the destroyers remained afloat. None of the fleet’s submarines was lost. And the commander of the Japanese task force, Admiral Chuichi Nagumo, refused to authorize a third strike that could have led to the destruction of Pearl Harbor’s naval dockyards and oil storage tanks, the loss of which would have neutralized Hawaii as a forward base for counter-offensives against Japanese moves toward the Philippines, Malaya, and the Dutch East Indies. HOW ISRAELI TERRORISM AND AMERICAN TREASON CAUSED THE SEPTEMBER 11 ATTACKS

By David Duke, National President
European-American Unity and Rights Organization (EURO)

If Osama bin Laden is the man behind the attack that caused the death of thousands of Americans on September 11, I, like most Americans want to him to suffer the ultimate punishment for his crime. No person or nation that commits terrorism against America should escape punishment. Continue reading ‘HOW ISRAELI TERRORISM AND AMERICAN TREASON CAUSED THE SEPTEMBER 11 ATTACKS’

Green Building Revolution

The green building movement is starting to make serious progress, reports E – The Environmental Magazine in its January/February 2007 cover story (now posted at http://www.emagazine.com). Eco-friendly construction is on the rise, from single-family houses and planned communities to schools, hospitals and other large built environments. Continue reading ‘Green Building Revolution’

Water Fuel Cell

The water fuel cell, named by American Stanley Meyer, is a device claimed to convert water into its component elements, hydrogen and oxygen (water electrolysis – 2H2O → 2H2 + O2), using less energy than that present in the elements’ bond itself. The water fuel cell could reportedly produce several times more energy than it consumes. In practice, an engine would be connected to a cell and, through the combustion process, convert the hydrogen back into water (2H2 + O2 → 2H2O). At least one car prototype reportedly powered by a water fuel cell has been assembled.[1] Continue reading ‘Water Fuel Cell’

Heal the Ozone Layer

The thin Ozone layer is made of Oxygen3, it now has major holes in it. The holes are as large as countries. The holes let the harmful UV rays to hit the earth. More sun burns and more skin cancer, let alone knowing what it is doing to the plants and animals. They used to blame the ozone braking up on perfluorocarbons (spray paint, freon, and other products) but now they finally admit it is the SMOG that is causing all the trouble. The Oil Corp.s spend millions on disinformation people and lobbists who asy no SMOG is good for the planet. We will all die eventually by greenhouse gasses and global warming as the ice caps are melting at an alarming rate.. We need to get rid of SMOG and need more oxygen. Burning the rain forest does not help, paving paradise with parking lots, and development, cement and asphalt not planting green plants, lawns, gardens are needed more. We need a Green Revolution. Prototype car runs 100 miles on four ounces of water as fuel

While his unique electrolysis process – working simply with water and electricity – was originally designed to work in welding factories as a replacement for acetylene torches, a whole new application has come to light from Denny Klein, who recently filed a patent on his solution. He has converted his 1994 Ford Escort to run either as a water-gas hybrid, or on water alone. Continue reading ‘Prototype car runs 100 miles on four ounces of water as fuel’

Global Warming: Who Loses—and Who Wins?

Coastal cities inundated, farming regions parched, ocean currents disrupted, tropical diseases spreading, glaciers melting—an artificial greenhouse effect could generate countless tribulations.

If Earth’s climate changes meaningfully—and the National Academy of Sciences, previously skeptical, said in 2005 that signs of climate change have become significant—there could be broad-based disruption of the global economy unparalleled by any event other than World War II. Green building

Green building is the practice of increasing the efficiency with which buildings and their sites use and harvest energy, water, and materials, and reducing building impacts on human health and the environment, through better siting, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and removal — the complete building life cycle.

Green building is also sometimes known as sustainable building or environmental building, although there are slight differences in the definitions. The practice of green building can lead to benefits including reduced operating costs by increasing productivity and using less energy and water, improved public and occupant health due to improved indoor air quality, and reduced environmental impacts by, for example, lessening storm water runoff and the heat island effect.
