The Truth About the Talmud

Introduction
The Talmud is Judaism’s holiest book (actually a collection of books). Its authority takes precedence over the Old Testament in Judaism. Evidence of this may be found in the Talmud itself, Erubin 21b (Soncino edition): “My son, be more careful in the observance of the words of the Scribes than in the words of the Torah (Old Testament).” Continue reading ‘The Truth About the Talmud’

Islam Was Spread By The Sword

IT IS a common complaint among some non-Muslims that Islam would not have millions of adherents all over the world, if it had not been spread by the use of force.
The following points will make it clear, that far from being spread by the sword, it was the inherent force of truth, reason and logic that was responsible for the rapid spread of Islam.

1. Islam means peace.

Islam comes from the root word ‘salaam’, which means peace. It also means submitting one’s will to Allah (swt). Thus Islam is a religion of peace, which is acquired by submitting one’s will to the will of the Supreme Creator, Allah (swt). Continue reading ‘Islam Was Spread By The Sword’

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT MOHAMMED

A lecture by Ahmed Deedat

Mr.Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen,

The subject of this evening’s talk – “What the BIBLE says about MUHAMMED” – will no doubt come as a surprise to many of you because the speaker is a Muslim. How does it come about that a Muslim happens to be expounding prophecies from the Jewish and Christian Scriptures ?

As a young man, about 30 years ago, I attended a series of religious lectures by a Chriatian theologian, a certain Rev. Hiten, at the “Theatre Royal”, Durban in South Africa.
Pope or Kissinger? Continue reading ‘WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT MOHAMMED’

“How Can We Observe The Salaat Prayers By Following The Quran Alone?”

“How can we observe the Salaat prayers by following the Quran alone?” is a favorite question among Sunni and Shiite Muslims who follow derivative texts, religious instruction, teachings and laws, all of which are written by men. With this question, both sects try to justify the necessity and proliferation of contradictory sectarian teachings, medieval Arab culture, oppressive laws filled with prohibitions and regulations–all falsely attributed to God and His prophet. Is there anti-Semitism in the Qur’an?

Q 1. I am a Jew and I am reading the Qur’an. I find that the Qur’an is very harsh in its criticism of the Jewish people. For example in chapter 5:60-64 I see that Jewish people are called as those whom Allah has cursed, is angry with them and has turned them into apes and swine. This is very offensive and sounds outright anti-Semitic. How do you explain this? I shall appreciate an answer from you. Continue reading ‘Is there anti-Semitism in the Qur’an?’

It includes the mean, mode [1], median [2], range [3], standard deviation (SD) [4], and relative standard deviation (RSD) [5]. The study uses three different methods of grouping Qur’anic chapters. The tables and figures in this study also provide useful information about the structure of the Qur’an. Continue reading ‘A Statistical Analysis of the Holy Qur’an’

”Periqlytos” Means ”Ahmad”

 By Professor David Benjamin Keldani

“And when Jesus, the son of Mary said: “Children of Israel, I am sent to you by Allah to confirm the Torah that is before me, and to give news of a Messenger who will come after me whose name shall be Ahmad.” Yet when he came to them with clear proofs, they said: “This is clear sorcery” (Qur’an 61.6 ).And I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Periqlytos, that he may stay with you for ever (John xiv. 16, etc.).
