We, the undersigned, pledge allegiance to the ideals of tolerance in the face of dissidence, forgiveness in the face of aggression, love in the face of hatred and mercy in the case of our empowerment over our antagonists.

Our very humanity is defined by the degree of our abstract thought and will – from amongst all other living beings, it is this that gives us the unique ability to understand and pursue noble goals.

Hence we ratify our humanity by pledging allegiance to these most noble principles.

We reject all ideologies that call for harm to be inflicted on any creature that can feel pain, under any circumstances.

This pledge is our religion, our philosophy and our over-arching guide to peace.
